Noisey and VICE
In my time as editor-in-chief at Noisey Italy, I was responsible for the magazine's editorial and social media strategy.
I managed the internal editorial team and external collaborators, and worked cross-functionally on the ideation, planning and execution of music-related branded projects.
Instagram Growth
During my time at VICE, we grew Noisey into a 200k followers-strong Instagram-first music vertical, serving both as a magazine in itself and a source of traffic for the website and YouTube.
YouTube Growth
My video work, featuring intimate portraits of artists and carefully-researched interviews, has racked up hundreds of millions of views and helped to cement Noisey’s place among the top Italian music media between 2016 and 2020. The YouTube channel has grown to 300k subscribers. Find examples below.

In-Depth Coverage and Artist Relationship
From hardcore punk to trap, from black metal to reggaeton, Noisey Italy has always strived to cover both underground and mainstream with a unique voice, doing away with quick, bite-sized pieces of content on its website and focusing on in-depth profiles, gonzo journalism and ground-breaking research.
We gave future stars their first coverage and developed deep connections that allowed us exclusive access to their private life. We highlighted gender disparity in Italian festivals. We discovered links between the Italian extreme metal scene and fascism. We broke artists, and gave voice to underrepresented communities. And we had a colleague listen to “Despacito” for 24 hours straight, ‘cause you still need to have some fun (lol).
